Privacy Policy

Links and transcription

When you submit an Instagram link, it passes through our Cloudflare-hosted function to Supadata, our third-party transcription provider. Supadata retrieves the video and processes its audio or existing captions. Transcription does not run locally on your device.

The provider may process and retain submitted links, media, transcripts, and service logs according to its privacy policy. Do not submit private or sensitive information. Only submit content you have permission to process.

Site data

We do not maintain user accounts or a transcript history database. The result remains in your open tab until you clear it or leave the page. For downloads, the transcript is sent to our Cloudflare function to return an attachment, without saving a transcript history. Downloads are saved by your browser. Our hosting provider processes request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the service. We use request-rate controls to reduce misuse.

Advertising

No advertising is currently displayed. We plan to add third-party advertising in the future. Before enabling it, we will update this policy to identify the providers, explain their data use, and provide consent choices where required.

Contact messages

Messages sent to our contact address are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to our Gmail inbox. We use your email address and message to respond and handle support requests. Avoid sending passwords, API keys, or payment details.
